The Department of Christmas Affairs (DCA) is delighted to announce the release of the 2023 Naughty and Nice List.
Thanks to the Global Behaviour Tracking Network and advanced data mining technology, we've compiled a comprehensive list of all 31,474 names currently being monitored by Santa.
Each name has been assigned a naughty or nice status based on their behaviour since Boxing Day 2022.
Remember, if a name is missing from the list, you can submit a name.
What's New in 2023?
The 2023 naughty and nice list comes with:
3000+ new names
An easy to use search function
State-of-the-art cybersecurity to ensure your data’s safety
With the list’s growing popularity, Santa is expanding the DCA team.
Our careers page lists several existing opportunities in areas such as:
Naughty List Intelligence
Bad Gift Enforcement
Reindeer Gift Delivery Logistics
The DCA acknowledges that sometimes we can get things wrong. We are, after all, only elves.
Contact the department if:
a naughty status has been incorrectly assigned
recent good behaviour should make a material difference to a name currently on the naughty list
If you believe either scenario applies to you, or someone you know, you can request a review.
The DCA’s Naughty and Nice list will be updated:
One week before Christmas
On Christmas Eve
This will ensure the most accurate reflection of any new additions to the list, as well as the latest naughty and nice statuses.
The DCA invites you to explore the 2023 Naughty and Nice List on our website, and share with your family and friends. Whether you find your name on the nice list, or need to make a case for a review, the department hopes the list brings a smile to your face this holiday season.
